Sherm Caldwell brings 31 years of industry experience to Benefits 1 Group including 4 years as a Corporate Risk Manager for a large multi-state manufacturer / distributor.

Sherm's experience includes 14 years in claims management leadership in the workers’ comp TPA industry, 11 years in the sales environment including 4 years in executive sales leadership.    He specialized in large complex selling situations including association expansion and program maintenance.

Prior to joining Benefits 1 Group in December, 2009, Sherm served as Vice President, Client Service for a global business outsourcing/processing firm in the workers compensation TPA practice.   He was responsible for a 7 member Account Executive team which managed a $17 million book of business including client retention, cross-selling of ancillary products, large hybrid-program development and alternative pricing methodologies.

He holds a degree in Radiologic Technology from Central Ohio Technical College.
